🧑💻🧑💻 We would love to introduce the first guest: Mr Ryan Febriansyah - A researcher at the WENS laboratory
🔹He has a Bachelor of Telecommunication Engineering from Telkom University in Indonesia and a Master of Electronic Engineering from Kumoh National Institute of Technology in South Korea. He is a WENS researcher in South Korea. He studies robotics, machine learning, AI, and unmanned vehicles (UxVs). He becomes interested in underwater robotics while studying robotics engineering. He led the robotics research group for two years. He has led many underwater robotics projects for teaching and research. Indonesia has several maritime resources, including coral reefs, fish, natural gas, and marine biota. These resources are limited by plastic contamination and unknown places. Research and education can improve human resources and help the country thrive. In keeping with my enthusiasm and background, I want to help advance underwater robotics technology by designing and innovating ROVs, AUVs, and USVs to improve the future.
🎉 He send the message to Kambrians: It's important to note that using robot alone is not a silver bullet for the problem of plastic pollution. Instead, it's more of a complementary approach that should be coupled with other solutions such as: reducing the use of single-use plastic, improving waste management infrastructure, increasing public awareness and education, and developing new materials and technologies that can be used to make plastic products that are less harmful to the environment.
